Tucker Time® Honey Pots
A slender single-trunked small tree or
multi-stemmed mallee (4-5m H x 2-3m W), with clear trunk and
branches, and a narrow upright habit. Leaves are small, narrow,
mid-green, filtering harsh summer light but allowing plentiful
winter light. Creamy white fluffy flowers are massed across the
canopy from summer to autumn, very rich in nectar and attracting
many honeyeaters. It is hardy in cool temperate to sub tropical
and semi arid climates. Honey Pots loves full sun or
light shade; grows in well drained clay loam or sandy and/or
stoney soils; acid to alkaline pH. It’s frost tolerant and
grows well in coastal sites.

Uses:
plant singly or in groups for an interesting landscape effect.
It’s an ideal small street tree, and perfect for screening in
confined areas. It makes a great combination with other small
eucalypts such as Summer Scentsation (yellow) and Euky
Dwarf (crimson).

Maintenance:
minimal attention required, and height and density can be
adjusted by pruning if required. A small quantity of low
phosphorus, controlled release fertilizer may be added at time
of planting, but minimal feeding or watering needed once
established.
