Eucalyptus
Euky
Dwarf™
Every garden should have its own Euky Dwarf
!
This
slender little tree grows easily in small or large gardens, parklands or as a street tree
(up to 6 metres high x 3 - 5 metres wide). It has a light open canopy of fine foliage, and bears
masses of deep pink, red or occasionally cream blossom from late autumn to early summer, easily
spanning six or more months of flowering. It is regarded as one of the most reliable, hardy
and adaptable little trees for gardens everywhere, and is second to none in its ability to sustain a
crowd of honeyeaters as a non-stop feeding station.

It thrives in cool temperate,
sub-tropical and semi-arid climates, in well drained clay or sandy loams, neutral to acid pH. It
loves full sun or light shade, is extremely frost hardy and will do equally well in coastal and
inland gardens.

Uses: A perfect
selection for small gardens (and there is not a garden anywhere that cannot be enhanced by at least
one small tree for the birds), for streetscapes, and for planting in groups in broad scale
landscapes. Consider a copse planting, and if scale and space permit, visualise a series of
groups along a driveway, or create a distant suggestion of a small woodland.

Maintenance: feed
with controlled release low phosphorus fertilizer around the root zone in early spring or late summer.
It would be rare to ever need to prune Euky Dwarf, but careful trimming of branches may be
undertaken if necessary.
