Grevillea Tucker Time® Winter Feast™
A gently
arching or ground covering plant (50 - 90 cm high x 1.2 - 2m
wide) with neat bluish-green foliage and soft pink new growth.
Clusters of bright red flowers are particularly eye-catching
on days of dull light, glowing amongst the foliage like bright
lanterns. They bloom from late summer through to mid spring,
with a peak in winter, and provide a sure source of nectar for
a range of honey-eating birds.

It thrives in full sun or light shade, in well drained,
humus-rich clay loam or sandy soils, neutral to slightly acid
pH; is suited to cool temperate to sub tropical or semi arid
climates, is frost hardy, and suits a second line coastal
situation.
Uses: a versatile, long flowering low shrub or ground
cover in open garden beds, on slopes and banks. Plant beside
ponds where birds can both feed and drink.
Maintenance: Minimal trimming is required just to
maintain tidy shape, may be pruned during late summer or early
spring; feed at the same time with low phosphorus controlled
release fertilizer.
