Goodenia Lightenup™
A small soft bright shrub (60-90cm x 45-65cm), with
striking variegated foliage dotted with butterfly-attracting egg-yolk yellow fan flowers from winter
to summer. Hardy in cool temperate to sub tropical and semi arid climates; thrives in full sun or
light shade. Suitable for well drained moist clay, red loams or sandy soils, neutral to acid pH.
Tolerates light frost; well suited to second line coastal gardens.
Uses: Will brighten dull parts of the garden, may be used as a foliage highlight amongst
darker shrubs; attractive cut foliage for indoor decoration. A perfect Flora for Fauna selection,
especially for butterflies.
Maintenance: Compact habit easily maintained with a light trim in late summer and early
spring. Feed lightly with low phosphorus controlled release fertilizer at time of trimming. Do not
over water.
