Westringia
Edna
Walling® Rosemary™
A shapely small to medium shrub
(80cm - 1.2m), with soft grey-green foliage to complement
the dainty violet-lilac flowers, which bloom from winter to summer
and are attractive to butterflies and harmless little native
bees. Hardy and adaptable in a wide
range of climates, from sub tropical to temperate and semi arid. Loves full sun or light shade, and grows best in well drained clay loam, or
sandy soils, slightly acid to mildly alkaline pH.
Suitable for coastal gardens, and will
tolerate light to moderate frosts.

Uses: Attractive as a
specimen or flowering container plant; ideal for formal
hedging and for mid level screening.

Maintenance:
If used as a hedge, plant at 60cm centres; prune
lightly in first year to develop dense growth. Trim lightly as required to maintain preferred height
and width. Fertilise in early spring or late summer with
controlled release low phosphorus fertiliser. If
container grown, use best quality free-draining potting
medium, do not over water.
