Spyrideum Edna Walling® Nimbus™
A dense carpeting plant (15cm x 60cm – 1m) with shiny dark green
foliage of intricate shape, and contrasting silver floral bracts and perfumed white flowers like
minute eidelweiss from spring to autumn. Often visited by butterflies. Loves full sun or light
shade, in well drained sandy or clay loam soils, alkaline to acid pH. Suitable for cool temperate,
sub tropical or arid climates, tolerates medium frost and will grow in exposed coastal sites.
Uses: a startling contrasting ground cover well suited to path edges, nestled around rock
outcrops, or as a very beautiful and easy to grow container plant.
Maintenance: lightly trim stem ends if required in early spring or late summer, and feed at
the same time with low phosphorus controlled release fertilizer. If container grown, keep moist but
not wet)
