Tetratheca Bicentennial Belle™
A dwarf, lightly suckering soft shrub (30-60cm high x 50-90cm wide)
with compact foliage covered in clusters of perfumed bright pink-mauve bells most of the year,
especially in spring and autumn. The massed flowers are especially attractive to butterflies. Full
sun or filtered light is ideal, and well drained sandy or clay loam soils of neutral to slightly
acid pH are best. Suitable for cool temperate to sub tropical and semi arid climates, withstands
heavy frosts, and will tolerate second line coastal conditions.

Uses: blends beautifully with other small shrubs in cottage garden settings, and makes a
particularly striking container plant in a well drained potting mix. Flowers may be picked for long
lasting posies.
Maintenance: prune lightly in early spring or late summer to initiate light sucker growth;
some flowering stems may need to be sacrificed, but put them in a vase indoors. Feed with low
phosphorus controlled release fertilizer at time of pruning. If planting in containers, use best
quality potting mix, keep moist but not wet.
