Dry White ™ Eucalyptus
A small tree (5-8m H x 3-5m W) with several slender trunks,
clear white to pale grey, with some ribbony bark, and a
short stocking of bark at the base. Foliage is small and
neat, with high levels of peppermint oil that disperses
pleasantly into the atmosphere on warm days. Opposite
juvenile leaves of rose pink are present at the ends of
young branchlets, which weep in graceful bunches.
Multi-headed clusters of tiny buds along the stems open to
white flowers from early spring to early summer. Suitable
for cold temperate to sub tropical and semi arid climates,
in full sun or light shade. Extremely drought tolerant,
hardy in harsh dry or moister soils, neutral to acid pH;
very frost tolerant, and suited to 2nd line coastal
situations.

Uses: ideal for providing light shade in small
confined gardens; narrow strips such as between house and
fenceline; planted in copses in parkland, or as a small
street tree.

Maintenance: Minimal care required, trim foliage if
needed. Feed in early spring or late summer with low
phosphorus controlled release fertiliser. Minimal watering
only is required when established.
