Weeping Wattle™*
An Aussie icon for any garden
A small softly weeping shrub (1.5m x 1.5 – 1.8m) with
aromatic foliage and bright yellow perfumed flowers in
spring. Grows in well drained clay or sandy soils, in
temperate to sub tropical and semi arid climates.
Likes full sun or light shade, and withstands heavy frost.
Suitable for second line coastal planting.

Uses:
as a specimen, or for light hedging or mixed with other
shrubs to create natural habitat. The flowers attract butterflies, and pigeons forage for seed under
plants during early summer.
Maintenance:
light pruning for shape if required. No feeding or extra watering needed once established.
*Suitable for planting in home
gardens. Landcare recommends local provenance species when planting into nature conservation areas.

Let this softly weeping shrub enhance a shady
comer of your garden. And enjoy the visiting pigeons who relish the fallen seeds ... another way of
providing Flora for Fauna in your landscape.
