Abundance™ Wattle
A narrow shrub of medium height
(2-3 m H x 1-1.5 m W), with dense soft narrow foliage and
massed creamy yellow rod flowers in autumn and winter. It
thrives in full sun or light shade, in very dry or moist clay
loams or sandy soils of neutral to acid pH.
Suitable for cold temperate to sub tropical and semi arid
climates, very frost hardy and drought tolerant, and suited to
2nd line coastal situations.
Uses: ideal for providing narrow screening or hedging in small
confined gardens; narrow strips such as between house and
fenceline; planted in copses in parkland, or beside water
bodies, wetlands and poolside perimeters.
Maintenance: Minimal care required, trim foliage if needed.
Feed in early spring or late summer with low phosphorus
controlled release fertiliser. Minimal watering only is
required when established.
