Edna
Walling® Crowea
A dainty low arching shrub
(30-45cm x 80cm-1.2m) with
aromatic foliage festooned with multi-hued pink star flowers in summer and autumn
and early winter, sought by native bees and butterflies. It is
extremely hardy and drought
resistant, loves
full sun or light shade, and grows readily in well drained
clay loam or sandy soils, slightly acid to mildly alkaline
pH.
Suitable for cool
temperate, semi
arid to sub tropical climates, is happy in coastal
situations and will tolerate light frosts.

Uses:
as mounding groundcover in beds,
cascading over banks or walls, and is
especially eye catching
when grown in containers for decoration of decks, balconies,
courtyards and patios. Its long flowering time is an asset
in any garden situation, and it may be picked for
long-lasting posies for indoor decoration.
Maintenance:
It is easy to
maintain in the garden, requiring only light trimming after flowering. Feed lightly in early spring with low
phosphorus fertilizer. If grown in containers, use only a quality low phosphorus growing mix.
Do
not over water, whether in container or in the ground.

One of the best container plants you
could choose.
And flowering at summer's end right
through to winter. What a charmer!
