Goodenia Edna
Walling® Coverup®
All the advantages of Ivy, and none of the vices.
A densely layering, ground hugging plant spreading to 1.5
metres. Bright green toothed foliage with yolk-yellow fan
flowers most of the year.

Hardy and drought tolerant, growing in cool temperate, sub
tropical and semi arid climates; suitable for both inland
and coastal gardens, and will tolerate light frosts.
Loves full sun or lightly shaded sites, in sandy or moist
well drained clay loams; acid to mildly alkaline pH.

Uses: as a dense
root-layering cover for flat sites, path edges, or slopes requiring soil binding.
Excellent for hanging baskets, containers and raised garden
beds, particularly as a moisture-conserving 'living mulch'.

Maintenance:
regular pruning of stem ends will produce fresh
growth constantly. Feed in early spring or late summer with controlled release low phosphorus fertilizer.
Remember that this plant requires very little water to keep
it looking good and growing happily. If container
grown, use best quality free-draining potting medium and do
not over water.

And what a cover up it
is. Just let it cover anything you want ... and give it a neat trim now and again.
