Pandorea
Lady Di™
A
dense, vigorous climber which quickly screens unsightly
walls, or beautifies pergolas and carports with lush green
divided foliage. Lady Di thrives in climates ranging from cool temperate to tropical,
and blooms from summer to autumn, in full or filtered sun.
It thrives in moist, well drained clay loam or moist,
sandy soils; neutral to acid pH. Light frosts are tolerated,
and it is suitable for second line coastal gardens.

The large, delicate white trumpet flowers have golden throats,
and a subtle sweet fragrance which is especially evident
on still nights. Butterflies and harmless native bees are
attracted to the flowering, and small birds such as Scrub
Wrens will be frequently seen foraging for insects amongst
the dense foliage.

Uses:: Plant at 2 metre centres for quick
cover, and if grown to screen a fence, a light wire mesh
support will be required. Lady Di is splendid
as a large container plant where a special effect may be
required.

Maintenance:
Regular pruning is necessary to maintain shape and fresh
growth. An occasional hard pruning (after flowering) is
also beneficial. Feed in early spring or late summer with
controlled release fertilizer suitable for native plants.
If container grown, use best quality free-draining potting
medium, keep moist but not wet.
