Welcome to our place. Wombat Bend is where we live, work and pursue a multitude of interests and passions.

Our particular passion is our lifetime love of plants.
We travel Australia regularly, searching and collecting from the wild, and selecting from our own and the breeding programs of other developers, to bring you the best Australian native plants for your gardens and landscapes.

As global warming forces us to recognize that our climate is changing dramatically, we also know we need greenery, flowers, birds and animals in our daily lives. Shade in our hot climate is vital. Viable habitat for our native creatures is imperative. Water is critical to life.

Good gardens are possible and achievable. Good planning and good product is what it’s about.

In these pages you will find all the ‘must have’ plants you need. Whether combined with your favourite plants from other lands, or used exclusively, they will help you to create a sustainable, health-giving and flourishing environment for you, your family and for visiting fauna.
